The Point in Time Count is an annual, nationwide counts that helps gauge the number of people experiencing homelessness. The effort requires volunteers to “go out into the field” to locate and document individuals and groups. Counties across the nation use this information to determine how funds will be distributed to provide services for people who really need them.

For the past couple years, ELC members have participated in this effort, and we invite you to join us again this year, on Thursday, January 28th to help out.

Annie’s Kitchen Volunteers have been asked this year to provide a hot breakfast for this event (50-100 people). The breakfast would need to be prepared here in our kitchen and delivered to a warm oven at Good Shepherd.
